The noise of the dryer, being lifted onto a table, someone handling their paws: lots of dogs find grooming a bit much, especially the first few times. Megan takes it at your dog's pace, and if a full groom would be too much in one go, she will tell you and plan it with you.

Rex's Grooming Parlour is run by Megan, a qualified dog groomer who is fully insured and pet first aid trained. Every dog who comes to Magnolia Road gets her full attention, whether they are in for a quick bath and brush or a full groom and a new look.

How much does a groom cost?
A bath and brush starts at £20 and a full groom at £35. The price depends on the size of your dog and the state of their coat. Every price is on our grooming and prices page.
How long will my dog be with you?
A bath and brush takes about an hour. A full groom takes from an hour and a half for a small dog to two and a half hours for a large or very thick coat. We let you know when they are ready.
Why is there a deposit?
A small deposit is taken when you book online to hold your appointment. The rest is paid on the day.
My dog is nervous. Can you still groom them?
